For the past three weeks, some guy has been texting me, asking how I've been, what I'm doing, etc. Don't get me wrong or anything but... I really don't want to talk to him because he once asked me about sex. And frankly, because of that, I now look at him as a maniac.I am open-minded when it comes to these kinds of topics. But the way he talked to me about it, he feels like he's a close friend of mine or something. He doesn't really have authority to ask such things about that topic.Anyway, although I have been nicely telling him to fuck off, alas, he still wouldn't stop txting or miss-calling me. He even gave my number to some other guy who txts like this: "Frend k ung nagbgay ng nmbr mo saakin. Bka glit nman u." Egh. My biggest pet peeve when it comes to receiving messages in my phone. Mixing tagalog words with english pronouns. TSK. The nerve! He wants his friend to be my textmate. He thinks that I have really low standards when it comes to choosing guys. Because he was telling me that this guy's good looking. Anyway, I don't really f-ing care because I don't waste my credits on unimportant things and I don't talk to strangers through txt.Anyway, if you're reading this (yes, you, the a-hole who has been constantly bugging me and the one who invaded my privacy by giving away my number,) please stop sms-ing me! Leave me alone you twit. Argh.//----------------------------------------Hmmn. I want to change my number but I really don't want to because I have been using this globe number for four years now. And everybody knows this number. So I really don't have a choice but to stick with it and accept the consequences of my stubborn-ness of not changing my number.//----------------------------------------It's OB's prom today. Same venue as our last prom.. EDSA Shang.
I envy the lower batches. I miss having to stress out about my gown. Comparing my gown with my classmates' gowns and worrying if mine is gonna be finished for the day of the prom (because I had mine made in 20 days before Feb 19th.) I miss having a reason for me to go to the spa and the parlor to have myself pampered for one of the most special events in highschool. I miss the days wherein we were forced to have prom dates because OB won't allow us to get outsiders as dates. Prom fever... Ah, those were the days..I'm lucky that my date for last year's prom was a total gentleman. My date was Gerald Napenas. Actually, we only became each other's dates because he's my husband for our engagement game project. That's what most of my classmates did. We dated our husbands or wives in our project.I'm feeling nostalgic. Forgive me. If you don't wanna read about what happened during the prom last year, skip the next few paragraphs of this entry. :POn the prom day itself last year (February 19, 2005), Philz, Keslie, Sha and I planned to meet on Robinson's Galleria. But Sha wasn't able to make it because of her usual habit of being late. Wahaha. :) Luv ya Sha! :P Anyway, after staying at Jesi Mendez for 5 hours (it's my hair's fault. Heehee! I had it curled kasi. And at that time, I had waist length hair), Philline, Keslie and I met at Galleria Suites' rest room to change to our prom gowns. Then we went to a studio to have our pictures taken with our respective boylets... ehem. Boyfriends.
After that, we went to Shang so we can check-in. That was around 5:45 in the afternoon. I was the first one to arrive at Shang because I was able to leave Galle earlier than Keslie and Philline. Anyway, I went to the room. And after re-touching my make-up in the room, I went down to the venue. Then Philline and Keslie went up.Went in the Isla Ballroom with my date, registered and looked for our tables. I noticed that one of the teachers who were sitting in the registration booth was wearing a gown which had the same material and same color as mine. But thankfully, hers was a really simple one. Hehe. Anyway, for the duration of the program, we (4-E) kept taking photos, chatted with each other, took photos again and chatted again. Haha. :)) Then I, on the other hand would occasionally leave the table to go to Philline's or to the Las Pinas table. Then while I was "nangangapit-bahay", Mr. De Silva and Mrs. Canet stopped me from what I was doing. I thought that what I was doing is illegal and I should sit down. Anyway, when I approached them, they asked me what time I arrived at the venue.. I puzzedly told them that I arrived at 5:45pm. While they were talking to me, they kept on looking at my gown. When I asked why, they told me that they were going to nominate me as prom queen. Ahaha. Cuteness. But I wasn't able to make the top 10 nominees. How sadness. Hehe! :))
Ohh. I forgot to mention that my date and I were one of the dancers who would represent Jive. Because of the dance, I think a few of the beads attached to my gown fell off. Oh well. After all the dances were shown, More photos were taken and more chatting -slash- socializing happened. They finally announced the prom king and queen, and next thing we knew, it's free dance!
I won't deny the fact that my ex was one of the reasons why I had so much fun during my last prom. He surprised me with a big dog at the ballroom floor at we danced a lot even if his dance moves were very hip-hop and it didn't match the music that was being played by the school's mobile. Hahaha. :))
So finally, the teachers asked us to leave the venue since the prom was already over. We should go straight home and not go to after-prom parties. Well anyway, they really couldn't do anything about that. Philline, Sha, Kes and I went to our room and took more photos and finally changed into casual clothes. We were planning to go to Mcdo to buy some food because we were exhausted due to extreme dancing during the free dance. But I wasn't able to go with them because my mom threatened to call the hotel room and look for me. And if I wasn't there, I'd be in big trouble when I go home the next day. Pffft. Haha. Moral lesson, kids, next time, don't give your mom the full details of what you'll do after the prom. Pffft. :P When they got back, after we ate, Philline and I went to different rooms of our batchmates. We went to 4-E's room, 4-H's, Las Pinas', 4-D, etc. Haha! It was 4 in the morning when she finally got tired and slept while I, (under the influence of sugar), had so much energy that I wasn't able to sleep until 6am.
The next day, we had breakfast at the hotel's buffet restaurant, we swam (lost my goggles), checked out and went to Julius' house by taxi. And then Julius brought us home.
Once again, I would like to thank Philline, Keslie, Sha, 4-E people, Gerald, and Jv who made the prom fun for me. :D I don't think that this prom wouldn't be that memorable if it wasn't for you. :D
*End of nostalgia.*
//----------------------------------------
The past week was really great because of Janus. :D We spent Feb. 14 under the trees at the Benavides' park.. Also known as Lover's lane. Yeah. I cut Sociology for that. But it was worth it. Hahaha. :)) Then we went to The Old Spaghetti house on the 16th. Since it was our 2nd month. :D Thanks Janus. :D I love you. :P
//-----------------------------------------
- Wuhoo. Memoirs of A Geisha will be shown on the 22nd. I reeeeaaally really wanna watch it. I need to go out and relax! I have been under constant pressure because of AA's upcoming prod and other school projects.
- I wanna go to Eurostar. Keslie told me that the rides were great. And judging from the way her stomach reacted, I'm pretty sure the rides are really that extreme.
Anyway, I gotta bounce! I have to study for another mind boggling, head draining quiz for CWG.
This time, it's a blank map of North america. And some random objective questions about North, South and Central America. Pfffft.
G'luck blockmates! :D
Boink.
