When I woke up this morning, my first thought was, I wanted cereal for breakfast. When I got to the kitchen, the paper plates and the plastic cups were out and on top of the counter top. Everything else was all jumbled up around the kitchen and by the time I found my cereal, it hit me that we were going to have a party today because of father's day.

Actually -- it was a surprise birthday debut for me. =]

Anyway. REWIND to 6 hours before the party, I was assigned to -- or rather I chose to attend to the chocolate fountain my sister had bought months ago. I was so excited that I was too concentrated on cutting up the chocolate pieces and melting them that by the time I got the melted chocolate from the microwave -- which unfortunately got overheated and cooked itself, (it actually took the form of brownies) I was already oblivious with the world beyond. -- Seriously. Deadma to the world ako sa mga tao while I strained, mixed and tried to work with the already damaged chocolate. By the time I was done, the guests were already here and I was too distracted and ngarag. Haha. Well at least I got it to work without clogging itself up.

I was so much into on the chocolate fountain that I barely registered that my sister was arranging purrty purple, white, and pink flowers on the table. -- Well if you know me, these colors are pretty significant because they're my fave colors. Tapos. Eto pa. My sister took out these really cute cupcakes and I actually commented that they were so pretty because of the color. Haha. And I actually wondered why we needed purple, pink and white cupcakes and pretty flowers for father's day! Haha! Tapos I just theorized that maybe my sister wanted to try something different lang.


Also, my tita and my cousin greeted me a happy birthday and -- STILL I just thought that it was justified by the fact that I just celebrated my birthday two weeks ago so yeah it's okay lang that they say that. Haha.

So there, while everyone else gathered around the table, I insisted that I wanted to go up na to prep myself up because I was too sticky and I was frustrated with the chocolate that I wanted to cool down muna. Then my cousin told me that I shouldn't because I was a "key" person to what was happening downstairs. Tapos I wondered why, dahil I thought naman that I wasn't a "father" to begin with. =))

My sister started talking about birthdays because it's actually true that there were half-a-dozen of us in the family who were June celebrants and I thought that the party was a celebration for the June people and the fathers.

And then, my lovely sister took out these two candles = 18. And I was pretty sure that I'm the only one who celebrated my eighteenth birthday this year. So there. SUPPLIES!


OKAY. So dun ko lang narealize na party ko pala yung pinaggagagawa naming lahat. Kung bakit abalang-abala lahat dito sa bahay. Hahahaha! And the funny thing about it is, I was so keen to help my sister prepare for the party without knowing the party was for me. So yun. Naiyak na lang ako. HAHA.

My sister instructed them pala to not greet me when they arrived at the house. Kinonchaba niya lahat sila. Haha. Owell. There, she also told them about my passion of taking pictures in an artistic manner. :P And that I wanted a professional cam. And my relatives agreed to chip in to help me raise funds to buy the cam. And that they were looking at my deviant art, my multiply and perhaps my blogsite as well. So ayon. Kanina, again, my lovely sister handed me a bowl of moolah! Hay. I was totally speechless -- and I was too embarrassed because I was crying na talaga. Haha. Basta I'm totally and eternally grateful that I have the best family in the whole world.

Ew. So I'm actually legal now.

Haha. Thanks to all those who greeted me. Especially those who stayed up until midnight just to greet moi. Ay lab yu ol. :D

Anyway. Happy Birthday din kay Ate Sammy Sanchez! yey!

Just watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3 by the way (finally!). And I fell in-love with it. From the plot, to the production design (HANDS DOWN.), the effects, and the music score, the cinematography, and everything about it. It's totally awesome.

If you haven't watched it yet, you gotta. And don't forget to finish the entire film (yes, credits included.) Or you might miss something. ;)

Also saw the 3 faceted thingy of Harry Potter OOTP in SM. I swear I will go back there and have my picture taken. No matter how embarrassing it may be. Mwahaha.
