Went to the editing studio today and had my first ever "dubbing" sesh. I sucked. HAHA. :) But its my first time. So gimme a break.. :P I dubbed my own character in the upcoming movie Shake Rattle and Roll 8. So guys, if you want to see me be burned alive, and look like a "taong grasa", then this is the movie to watch. :))
(sorry about the picture. I was captured using a phone (obviously :P) but it won't transfer to the pc via infra.. grr. owell.)

Went to Divisoria with my mom last week. I lurved the accessories - the gold chains with the
big beads. I was on the verge of buying one set when my mom told me to just save my money instead because -- I'm not showing off or anything but I can easily make one if I wanted to and she already had a lot of these "blings." I at first did not believe her because I never saw her gold accessories before. But the other day, she said she finally found the key to her "baul" and lo and behold, it was like a treasure chest.
The smell of it brought back memories from my childhood. You see, as a child, I loved going through the contents of this simple box. It was like a
time capsule. It contained interesting artifacts, like Hello Kitty perfumes- My mom bought these when she went to Japan and accessories during the 1960s.
I was indeed pleased to see my mom's collection. She had about 20 gold necklaces and a few gold bracelets to match these necklaces. Do I look like a Christmas tree? Haha. :)
My mom told me that my grand aunt and her cousins used to call her a Christmas tree because of the accessories that she wore at parties or social gatherings during her time. Now, she's passing them on to me so that I too can use her accessories at the parties i'm going to.
She's actually glad that I can use it too. At least it wouldn't be stored in that time capsule forever. :)
I hope that I can pass these too to my "daughter". :))
Oh. And for the last pic, its also my mom's vintage stuff. I bought the white belt from
divisoria then the tan, black, and gold belt was my mom's. I think she got them when she was 18. Its kinda unique actually. I know that everyone else has "that" kind of belt. But the buckles of my mom's belts are different from today. :) Um. The bangles are also my mom's... And the kolorete (that's blush-on for us :)) was my grand aunt's. The compact actually has her name embedded on it. (Which is no problem for me since we have the same name - Ligaya.). :)
Anyway. It's pretty late. And I'm sleepy.
Ciao everyone. :D
